Gregory B. Scott
Of Counsel

Curiosity drives Greg, both in life and in law.  During his over forty years of practicing labor and employment law, his interest in knowing his clients has led him to be a trusted and valued counselor for public educators.  Over his distinguished career primarily representing school boards, Greg has handled hundreds of labor contract negotiations, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, proceedings before the State Employment Relations Board, civil rights litigation, employee discipline and discharge cases, student discipline disputes, special education disputes, and related litigation.  With an encyclopedic memory for detail and the good judgment acquired after years of practice, clients value Greg’s practical advice.  Greg takes the time to get to know administrators and board members in order to identify their needs and perspectives to craft solutions that work for their schools and communities.

After graduation from law school, Greg served as a judicial clerk for Circuit Judge Walter Gewin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans.  He formerly coordinated the employment law practice at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Columbus, was a founding partner of our firm and served for many years as Managing Partner.
